INTRODUCTION OF BSI OUR ACTIVITY With over 50 years experience in designing and producing containers and process installations, BSI ranks as one of the European leaders in the handling and processing of your pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetics and food products. Our Know-How, acquired from the merging of companies excelling each in its specific scope, focuses on : - tank containers, IBC’s and pressure tanks for transportation of hazardous or non hazardous products, - storing and handling containers for powders, granules and creams, - complete production process units. With more than 30.000 containers manufactured and 2.000 process equipments installed, BSI has been acting as a worlds leading player since several decades. The large range of equipments developed, built-up and approved, as well as patents applied, are the token of our advance in design and technology for transporting, storing and processing.
INTRODUCTION OF BSI OUR COMPANY Located in LA RICHE (TOURS – France) in a 13300 m2 site gathering the head office, the administrative and production departments, BSI employs about 50 people with a 6 millions Euros turnover. 20 % of this turnover being realized from Export to Europe, East Europe, Africa, America and Asia. Our trade network and after-sales department dealing with more than 30 countries.

INTRODUCTION OF BSI OUR HISTORY BSI was born in 1988 from the merging of two companies, BIEMONT Industrie created in 1923 and its subsidiary SONECO founded in 1979. COMPANIES ORIGIN BIEMONT : Local body making works was created in 1923, moving then to boiler construction and plants installation. And finally manufacturing containers for liquids transportation and storing, after purchase of SAFRAP Company in 1973. SONECO Was created in 1979 by BIEMONT SA. Its new activity proceeding from the merging with ORVAL company, located in La Riche and founded in 1922. ORVAL was specialized in constructing, transforming and repairing of industrial wagons, hoppers, tanks and small IBC’s. This acquisition allowed BIEMONT SA to enlarge its range with tanks for gas and liquids. BSI The new company became one of the French leaders in tanks field and development of complete process installations. Our Know-How, joined to various complementary abilities acquired during several decades, make BSI present and acknowledged as an expert in reference fields of activity, ie basic chemicals, petrochemicals, semiconductor industry, pharmaceutical production, cosmetics and food industry.
